Emilia Lajunen is a well known professional Finnish folk musician, known for her personal, strong, and modern style of playing the violin. Her style of playing claims its origins in archaic heritage and fiddler music.
Syntyä / syvyydestä is a multidisciplinary collaboration between dance artist Outi Markkula, professional folk musician Emilia Lajunen and scenographer Jaana Kurttila. Just end of the year 2024 Emilia was working with Tanssiteatteri Tsuumi Suojelija.
Suojelija contemporary dance piece explores the relationship between humans and other species through embodied empathy. Bodily empathy with other species refers to the ability to understand and share emotions and qualities through bodily experience.
